What a Difference

You'd be surprised by the kind of difference you can make by simply editing your photos.




Take, for example, the photo below.  This was the original picture that my camera produced.


This next picture is after a little bit of Photoshopping enhancements, such as cropping, adding contrast, and brightening the picture.  For basic editing, I'd high recommend using this awesome post by A Piece of Lisa.


And this last one is one that was created by using a variety of Photoshop techniques, including Curves, Selective Color, and Color Balance.  This is the gorgeous coloring that I used to edit the below picture.


 Below is another example of the difference between the first image (original) and the following image (edited).



And this is the last example of going from dull and boring:

You can easily take your photos from plain Jane to snazzy and stylish in a snap.  Pretty cool, isn't it?  So which do you like best: the original, raw image; the slightly edited photo; or the over-the-top, vibrant finish?
