I am a huge fan of all things DIY, so I decided to create some end-of-the-year gifts for my teachers. First up is my chemistry teacher. She influenced my future in many ways, so I wanted to make something unique for her. I also wanted the gift to be completely chemistry-based.
So I came up with this.
Using the Chemical symbols for a small variety of elements, I spelled out I Luv You (I Lu V Y O U) on a canvas. I simply drew enough boxes and used a sharpie to fill in the details.
I then wrapped it in several layers of white tissue paper. Using double sided tape, I attached the pretty clothespin (which was found in the Michael's dollar section!) and some pink cardstock. I also wrote a little message on a pretty tag (that I found in the dollar section of Michael's. Yay!) and used the clothespin to hold the tag in place.
I'm excited to give this to her and see her reaction. :)
Luke 22:33 "But he replied, 'Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.'"

Such a sweet idea! I bet she loved it!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Haha she actually cried when I gave it to her. :)
